Throughout the world, the "Freimatic" horsewalker system has become established as an indispensable training tool.

  • The robust hot-dip galvanized construction and the plain, but intelligent technology ensure comfort of operation and use
  • The stable basic construction makes it possible to have a diameter of almost any size. Standard diameter: 13/15/18/20/23 m.
  • Direction and speed can be freely chosen.
  • A robust drive unit ensures permanently smooth and steady operation.
  • The motor is mounted high. The arms circulate at a height of about 2.40 m. This ensures a high degree of safety.
  • Movable safety grills with replaceable parts and rubber lamellae reduce the risk of injury.
  • The grills and the entire turnable part of the equipment are insulated.
  • In the uncomplicated, maintenance-free drive, a solid rubber tyre is pressed with a motor buffer against a metal ring.
  • A four-horse walker is operated with a 750 watt motor. Another motor is used in the case of bigger walkers or where further equipment is added. The power consumption is low with both versions.
  • A 230 volt connection with a 16 amp fuse is sufficient.
  • As well as a high degree of safety, the small amount of power required also ensures ease of use.
  • High quality European methods and materials

  • Suspended Horsewalker System View on Rower & Rub website

When suspended from the roof ridge of, for example, a 20 m circular arena, open space of about 15 m in diameter which is suitable for lungeing is created. A permanent walking circle is established around the outside. Obviously, it is possible to install the walker in an arena which has been constructed by the owner, in which case it is necessary to include the weight in the calculation of the statics when constructing the arena.

  • Standard sizes 18 /20 / 23 m (13 / 15 m) in diameter
  • Production on an individual basis possible
  • Stable, hot-dip galvanised basic construction
  • High-mounted motor
  • Movable grills
  • Stable, replaceable grills and rubber lamellae
  • Up to 4 horses: 1 x 750 watt motor, from 6 horses: 2 x 750 watt motor
  • A 230 volt connection with 16 ampère fuse is required
  • High quality European methods and materials
  • Partial Roof System View on Rower & Rub website

Röwer & Rüb developed a hot-dip galvanised steel structure, which shaped like gallows, roofs over the
walking area of the horses. This guarantees that the horsewalker can be used independent of the weather.

The diameter of a facility can be established and constructed on an individual basis.

The following sizes can be offered as standard versions:

  • 13 metres
  • 15 metres
  • 18 metres
  • 20 metres
  • 23 metres
  • Snow load: Up to 1.3kN/m²
  • The construction of a partial roof is also suitable for subsequent
    erection above an existing horsewalker.

An eaves height of approximately 2.60 m provides for adequate freedom of movement.
For the safety of horses, supports are made of tubular sections.

Circular Arena View on Rower & Rub website

Our more than 20 years' experience with the construction of circular arenas means that the technically refined steel and wood structures are perfectly adapted to suit the requirements of man and horse.

The CLASSIC version is a circular arena which has been specifically designed
for snow loads of up to approx. 1.3 kN/m² and
    with 10 corners

The diameter of a facility can be established and constructed on an individual basis.
    The standard versions are:

  • 15 metres
  • 18 metres
  • 20 metres
  • 23 metres
  • The regional provisions for the calculation of the statics will be taken into consideration for every building project!

The installation of a suspended horsewalker system ensures the best possible use of the circular arena, as the inner space provides enough room for floor work and lunge training or can be used as storage space.

The roof ridge is designed as a kind of hood structure and completes the roof in a visually pleasing way. It also ensures good ventilation.
